A MESSAGE from the MRSD 2016 Reigning Queen…Mikayla Sich…
The Black Hills Roundup is where this life changing adventure started for me. What an historic rodeo, and a hard working committee. I am so grateful and honored for the hospitality and generosity that the Miss Rodeo South Dakota Organization receives from the Black Hills Roundup. Thank you for hosting our pageant for all these 53 years. So far I’ve traveled to Colorado, Florida, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and all over the state of South Dakota. Traveling to other states and experiencing their rodeos has always brought me so much pride as I represent the great state of South Dakota. South Dakota is home to some very talented cowboys and cowgirls, the best stock contractors that produce consistent NFR quality stock, the most hospitable rodeo committees, and hard working fellow rodeo queens who love their job and take it very seriously. It is a combination of all these things that make this year one I will cherish for the rest of my life.
