Black Hills Roundup/Eagle Country National Anthem Contest


The Black Hills Roundup Committee is pleased to announce the winner to the 2017 Eagle Country/ National Anthem Contest.

This year’s winner is Emily Monier of Belle Fourche.

Emily is a 2016 graduate of Belle Fourche High School and has just completed her freshman year at Mt. Marty College in Yankton, SD, majoring in elementary education.

Some of you may have heard Emily sing the national anthem at local Bronco sporting events in years past. We’re proud to have Emily representing our country with the honor of singing our national anthem prior to our 4 PRCA performances in 2017!


You could be the exclusive National Anthem Performer at next year’s Black Hills Roundup Rodeo.

Try outs are usually in mid-June in Belle Fourche at Hermann Park.


The winner will win a prize package and will perform the National Anthem to open each performance of the Black Hills Roundup Rodeo.
