Family Fun and Entertainment

The Black Hills Roundup is one of the oldest continuously held outdoor rodeos in America. For five exciting days surrounding the July 4th holiday weekend, thousands of regional residents, and people from across the country and abroad, come to Belle Fourche to celebrate. Tickets and reserved seating are available through the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce.
Top ranked cowboys and cowgirls perform in the many events including barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, bull riding, team roping, steer
roping and more.
Once again this year world-class livestock will be provided by Hank and Lori Franzen of Powder River Rodeo and D&H Cattle Company. They will bring NFR bucking stock to challenge our champion cowboys.
Also part of the festivities is a week-long carnival, huge fireworks display, a mile-long parade, a barbecue, ranch rodeo, the Miss Rodeo South Dakota contest and more. It's no wonder we say at the Black Hills Roundup - "When it comes to fun - git 'er done!"
The Rodeo this year will also feature the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls. Here is a video of them preforming in a celebration for the Queen of England.
