The PRCA rodeo will will take place July 1-4, 2017. Once again it will feature the country’s top riding and ropin’ talent. World-class bucking stock will be provided by Hank & Lori Franzen of Powder River Rodeo and their award-winning string. Joining them once again will be Franklin Rodeo and Northcott Macza Rodeo from Canada. And new this year, J-J Rodeo from Montana.

Oh, but don’t forget the wild, wooly and western fun in the area’s best Ranch Rodeo and barbecue on June 30th. If you want to get a flavor of the raw, git ‘er done cowboy spirit of competition you will not want to miss it! Tickets to the rodeo will are available at the Tri-State Museum or on the website now.

As part of the festivities there is a week-long carnival, South Dakota’s best fireworks display, expanding to two nights in 2017, and a mile-long parade. Top it off with the one and only Miss Rodeo South Dakota contest. Explore this website for more information on all the heart-thumping, non-stop, family friendly fun!
